I am a master’s student in Neural and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Tübingen. My research focuses on perceptual multistability and the computational mechanisms underlying adaptive behavior. In my thesis project at the CMC Lab, I investigate whether perceptual switches can be described as value-based decisions similar to foraging behavior. To address this question, I combine online behavioral experiments with computational modeling grounded in reinforcement learning and decision theory. More broadly, I am interested in how organisms make decisions under uncertainty and how internal states and prior experiences shape behavior.
